These draft rules describe the Laid-Off Pass offered by Glorious Living LLC. Last updated October 8, 2026. Questions: hello@retirerentfree.com.
No purchase necessary
There is no fee to apply or to be considered. A purchase, donation, or paid booking does not improve your chances. This is a discretionary guest-selection program, not a random prize drawing.
Who can apply
You must be a US resident, aged 18 or older, and have been laid off within the last 12 months when you apply. All industries are welcome. We may request reasonable evidence of eligibility privately. Do not send confidential employer records in your initial application.
What we offer
One free week per month across the network, not one week per home. A selected guest receives seven consecutive nights at an available home in Comanche, Texas; Durrës, Albania; or Yunnan, China. Sarasota and Boston are not included. Exact dates and accommodation are confirmed in writing.
Utilities and Wi-Fi are included. Yunnan includes three meals per day. Elsewhere, food is your responsibility. Pets are allowed at Comanche only, subject to the confirmed home’s rules.
How guests are chosen
We review applications weekly. We consider eligibility, the applicant’s reason for a slower life, requested dates, home availability, and practical fit with the home and host. We may contact you with follow-up questions. Selection is at our discretion. No applicant is guaranteed a stay. We do not promise a response date.
Your travel and other costs
You arrange and pay for your travel, local transportation, passports, visas, travel insurance, and personal expenses. Confirm entry requirements before choosing an overseas home. Do not buy travel until you have written confirmation. The free week has no cash value and is not transferable.
The video diary
Apply with a video of about 60 seconds. Selected guests agree to make a 60-second diary reflecting on their stay. Your application video is private. We may share a guest diary only after obtaining that guest’s separate written permission. Agreeing to make a diary is not blanket permission to publish it.
House rules and safety
Guests must respect local law, neighbors, property, and agreed house rules. Before accepting, ask about accessibility, sleeping arrangements, host contact, emergency arrangements, and any needs you have. A confirmed stay may be ended for serious safety or house-rule violations. Guests may be responsible for damage they cause beyond ordinary wear.
Changes, cancellations, and questions
Availability can change. If a confirmed stay becomes unavailable, we will discuss an alternative date or home; we cannot guarantee a replacement or reimburse travel. These rules may be updated for future applications. Confirmed arrangements will be discussed directly with the guest. Your statutory rights are not waived.
