What we collect
Your application includes your name, email, phone, city and state, layoff month and year, industry, preferred homes and dates, video link or uploaded file, reason for applying, and consent choices. We also keep review status and internal notes. Website services may process technical information such as IP address, device information, and security logs. Please do not include account passwords, identity documents, medical details, or confidential employer information in your video or answer.
Why we use it
We use application data to check eligibility, review and select guests, contact you, arrange a confirmed stay, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary records. We do not sell application data. Consent to be contacted is for your application and arrangements, not an automatic subscription to marketing.
Who can see it
Application records and uploaded videos are private and accessible to authorized administrators. Service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, and email process information to operate the site. With a confirmed stay, we may share necessary arrangements with the relevant host.
Data may also be shared with related sites run by the same company, including nomadbase.ai, slowretire.ai, slowtrip.ai, slowstay.ai, nomadbnbclub.com, and meetnomad.ai, for compatible operational purposes such as coordinating your requested stay. We do not use this permission to publish your application or enroll you in unrelated marketing. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect safety and legal rights.
Your videos and diaries
Uploaded application videos are stored privately. An external video link is governed by that video service’s privacy and access settings; choose those carefully. Selected guests’ diaries may be shared only with separate written permission specifying the intended use. Contact us to discuss withdrawal; we can stop future use and remove copies we control, but cannot guarantee removal of copies already made by others.
Cookies and analytics
Essential storage supports security, admin login, and remembering your cookie choice. Optional analytics load only after you select Accept. Decline leaves them off. No analytics measurement ID is currently configured. You can reopen cookie preferences in the footer. An embedded YouTube video may connect to YouTube when it is loaded or played; its own privacy policy applies.
Retention and security
We keep applications only as long as reasonably needed for review, arrangements, and legitimate legal or security needs, then delete or de-identify them. Ask us to delete an unselected application at any time. We restrict access and use protected storage, but no online system is completely risk-free. Overseas stays and service providers may involve processing outside your state or country.
Your choices and rights
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, to withdraw contact consent, or to ask about applicable privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal requirements. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
Children and updates
The application program is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect applications from children. Contact us if you believe a child’s data was submitted. Updates will be reflected in the date above.
